Bhagavad Gita" Ch. 2a: The Qualities of the Soul
Description
Bhagavad Gita" Ch. 2a: The Qualities of the Soul
Arjuna submits to Lord Krishna as His disciple, and Krishna begins His teachings to Arjuna by explaining the fundamental distinction between the temporary material body and the eternal spiritual soul.
Krishna tells him that the soul cannot be killed and is immortal. After the death of the body the soul goes into another body and one who is wise is not disturbed by such a change of bodies. This is what we now refers to as reincarnation or transmigration of the soul.
We also discuss the qualities of the soul and how to connect with it in our daily life.
What is the Bhagavad Gita?
The Bhagavad Gita (The Divine Song) was written 3000 BC by Vyasa. It is a discussion between Krishna and Arjuna, on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, India.
The Gita is considered by spiritual gurus to be the oldest, wisest and most powerful spiritual teaching in the world. It presents a practical path to enlightenment/awakening/self-realization through union with the divine. It speaks about various processes that lead to spiritual evolution culminating in divine love or bhakti-yoga.
The Gita delves into a wide range of topics including meditation, the soul, reincarnation, karma, God, divine love and so much more.
If you want to learn how to master this human existence and become free from suffering, then this program is meant for you.
I consider the Gita to be the most important instruction for any spiritual seeker. It contains the perfect message to help us deal with the chaos and darkness in our world today. I look forward to you joining us.
